The Peekskill Trolley Company

The Peekskill Trolley Company offers historic tours of Peekskill (check wall or website for current weekend schedule). The tour gives you a little of Peekskill's rich history from when Jan Peeck first established a trading post in the 1600's. It tells a little of her relationship with George Washington who established the Continental Army's headquarters in Peekskill and gave command of West Point to Benedict Arnold. You'll learn about President Elect Lincoln's historic stop and speech in Peekskill, and a few interesting facts about Peekskill that you may not have known plus you'll see some beautiful views of the majestic Hudson River.
