New York Boat Company

The evening star is a former united states coast guard buoy tender. After being decommissioned it was converted to a 36 passenger tour boat and operated on the erie canal for more than 10 years before moving to peekskill in 2011. On board we serve local craft beers, wine, and cocktails.

Steel Imaginations

Wilfredo Morel is a highly acclaimed Hudson Valley Region artist known for his sculptures utilizing recycled materials, related to the communities where materials are found. Wilfredo has been creating metal sculpture installations throughout the Hudson Valley since 1991. The Peekskill Museum

Described by many as a Queen Anne in the Shingle Style, the Herrick House was designed by a classmate of Herrick’s at Amherst College, William Rutherford Mead who in 1872 had partnered with Charles Follen McKim. In 1879 they would be joined by Stanford White to form McKim, Mead and White. Although the exact date of construction is not known, it was featured in the June 30, 1877 issue of American Architect and Building News. The building next door to the Museum was the Herrick’s carriage house.
